The treatment
A sculpting, slow and deep massage
Face Sculpting is a slow, precise and deep facial massage, designed to release muscular tension built up in the face, neck and jaw. It's a rare treatment in Clermont-Ferrand.
Essentially hands-on, the protocol closes with Cryo Spoons — chilled steel spoons whose cold drains, de-puffs and soothes the skin — the finishing touch that plumps and locks in the massage's sculpting effect.
No machines, no needles. The treatment combines external work on the face, neck and jaw, then a gentle intra-oral massage — sanitary gloves, slow movements — to reach the deepest tensions, where hands alone can't go. Precision work adapted to every face, every feature.

Frequently asked questions
You may be wondering...
What's the difference between Face Sculpting and Kobido?+
Both are natural, lifting facial massages, but their approach differs. Kobido alternates brisk, toning movements with draining motions and acupressure points — inspired by ancestral Japanese techniques. Face Sculpting relies on slow, deep movements that work in depth on muscular tension, finished with Cryo Spoons to drain and soothe. Face Sculpting is especially suited if you carry jaw tension, bruxism, or want to redefine your contour in depth. Laura is happy to guide you toward the treatment best suited to your features and needs.
Can Face Sculpting help relieve bruxism and jaw tension?+
Yes. The Face Sculpting protocol includes specific work on the masseter and temporal muscles — the ones that tighten with nighttime bruxism, accumulated stress or a chronically clenched jaw. The slow, deep movements release these often-painful areas. Many clients report an immediate feeling of a looser, more relaxed jaw. For a lasting effect, a package of 5 sessions is recommended. Face Sculpting doesn't replace medical or dental follow-up if bruxism is severe, but it's an excellent complement.
What happens during the intra-oral phase of the massage?+
The intra-oral massage is a key step in Face Sculpting — the one that reaches deep muscular tension, especially in the jaw, and reworks the lip contour and nasolabial folds from the inside. Laura puts on single-use sanitary gloves, then performs slow, gentle movements inside the mouth. At no point do you need to keep your mouth open or hold an uncomfortable position: the treatment remains a genuine moment of relaxation, in keeping with the external massage.
Is Laura trained in Face Sculpting?+
Yes. Laura trained at the Académie des Facialistes, the French reference school for facialism founded by Delphine Langlois. This demanding training teaches a precise sculpting facial massage protocol, with recognised expertise still rare in France. Laura applies this protocol while adapting it to every feature, every skin, every request.
Should I do a package, or is one session enough?+
The effects are visible from the very first session: relaxed features, a redefined contour, a looser jaw, a radiant complexion. To make the results last — especially for chronic jaw tension or a loosened contour — a package of 5 sessions close together (one every two weeks) is strongly recommended. After that, one monthly or seasonal maintenance session is enough to maintain the effect.
ⓘ Good to know before booking
Face Sculpting is not recommended in case of facial skin lesions or inflammation, an active cold sore or mouth ulcer, a recent aesthetic procedure (injection, peeling, laser — minimum 15-day wait), or a specific condition requiring medical advice. If in doubt, mention your situation when booking or contact Laura at contact@vaguedessens.fr.
